Christine lives on!

We went to collect Christine from our local garage today and after several days of worry, sweating and thinking of the worst possible result we get handed an MOT without even an advisory on it (I didn't know you could even get a certificate with nothing wrote on that side lol)
She had Passed!!!!!!!!

The guy had ended up patching up a little rusty bit in the rear sill that had obviously beem dunted on one of her many exploits in yorkshire or lakes area??? And it had developed into a small hole over time so he welded om patch and painted it and all is good :) and a couple of wiper blades and bulbs (that Steve had meant to replace before putting her in but hadn't!!!)

So a total cost including MOT charge (£54 think), 2 hours labour, parts(including the welding materials etc) and VAT only £160
That's a result! Compared to last years where I had to sit down with shock at bill!! But the motor is 12 years old so mustn't grumble ;)

They say hard work never hurts anybody, but why take the chance!!

Great news theres many years left in your motor yet & TBH it's cheaper to keep a T2 on the road than a mondeo after looking up the common faults
